Postpartum bubble bath?
How long after giving birth did you wait to have a nice hot bubble bath? I’m 5 weeks pp and I had stitches after giving birth. I feel like everything has healed now so could I go for a nice hot bubble bath?
I was told not to put anything in my bath or use scented body wash until everything had healed but how can I be sure I’m all good to go??

i did in the first week because standing up in the shower made me nearly pass out and everything was fine for me xx
I waited 2 weeks then did. Everything was fine for me but I was emergency section x
Same week with badedas bubble bath - had a third degree tear x
i was told 2 weeks after my c-section with dissolvable stitches. so i assume its similar so im sure 5 weeks will be fine! if you’re unsure you could always just wait until your 6 week postpartum checkup to double check xx
I got told to get a bath a week after to help the stitches to dissolve but also got told not to but anything in it so a plain bath you should be ok x
