Camping

I recently just went camping with an 8 month old and we got the childcare ezi lite travel cot which you can get from big w 🙌 was a great compact size, and fit nicely in our 6 man tent - not a necessity but if you have a small portable mattress or even a topper to put on the bottom to make it softer then that would make it comfier for bubs… we didn’t have one, and my daughter was okay, but I will get one for future I think :)

Also not sure what the weather will be like or if you’re going to be at a powered site, but a portable fan was a lifesaver for us as it was quite a warm night! Lastly, we found the izimini portable chair to be so helpful to feed solids on, and much more compact then taking a high chair… hope this helps! I’ll send some links :)

We got a Phil and Ted's portable cot which packs up super small and is super handy. Similarly to other cots, if you have a towel or something soft to put underneath, it'd be more comfortable but our 8months old was fine sleeping on it for weeks.
Portable chair for feeding from Kmart was also super handy. Does the same job as the Izimini but less cute patterns and significantly cheaper 😂

I got a second hand portable travel bassinet from marketplace.
