Boyfriend calls me manipulative

So my boyfriend and I don’t live together, so when I try to make plans with him and sometimes can’t do it if I can’t get someone to watch my son he says I’m manipulating him, he’s said it on more than one occasion and it’s starting to annoy me now because I didn’t know that that was a form of manipulation but it is. I’ve explained like I’m a single mum and I prioritise my son and uni over the relationship as he is not responsible for me and my son. Before getting into the relationship he knew all of this yet still calls me it. Does anyone else agree that this is manipulative? Bearing in mind when I make suggestions to meet I do also make it known that if I cannot get someone to look after my son then I won’t be able to meet just in case and never leave it late to tell him I can’t

Well if he can’t understand that your child comes first then he may not be the man for you. You have to take care of your child before taking care a man. If you can’t find a babysitter what do he expect you to do? A real gentleman would just included him.

Of course it’s not. You are an adult with adult responsibilities - it’s not like you can just ditch your kid to go on a date. Most people who date single parents can understand that you and your child come as a package deal. If he can’t get his head around that, maybe he should be dating someone else.

If he can't understand that then u might wanna move on unless it's worth it but if somebody can't understand that need a baby sitter for my kid then I'm moving on to the next especially in the dating stage
