Dating an illegal immigrant?

Have any of you ladies been through this? Or are going through this currently? I started dating this man he's a year older than me and I'm already anxious as it is dating again after leaving my daughter's dad because I'm just scared to get my heart broken again, but now it actually does worry me that he isn't legal here. It didn't worry me before but I mean if I truly would like a future with him how realistic would it be that he can like provide for me and my daughter. He's been nothing but a sweetheart. He doesn't speak English so idk it's a little scary... sometimes I feel like maybe I shouldn't even be dating if I'm always going to have a fear of them screwing me over... but I won't ever get over that fear if I don't put myself out there... I've told him about my fears and hesitations and he understands. I told my family he wasn't legal here and they're not very supportive. Only because my aunt dated my cousins father who also wasn't legal here and he left her once he got his papers that she fixed for him... so idk, any advice? 😞
