I had a back to back labour with my first… it was horrendous.
I’ve just been to my 37 week appointment and they’ve said baby is back to back, I’m feeling stressed, upset and scared to go through that again, has anyone got any advice?

My first was born back to back, she moved during labour as 12 hours before she was born she was the preferred way. Honestly I didn't think it was horrendous as such, yes it hurt but I think childbirth does in general but it didn't hurt enough to make me scared to go through back to back again. I laboured in the pool with only gas and air, an then pushed out of pool as they struggled to find babys heart rate. But I think there's alot of scare stories but honest I didn't think was the worst it could be, I think personally perspective is also alot to do with it to x

My first was also back to back and ended up in an emergency csection so this time I have opted for a section as I don’t want to go through that again! This baby is also back to back but a midwife has told me that second b2b babies tend to turn during labour and it’s no way near as bad but I’m not willing to risk it 😅
