Sleeping on your side ….

So I’ve read that from week 20 you should really sleep on your side .. so I am starting it now just to break me in .. and I keep waking up with a painful dead leg .. I then roll to the other side only to wake up again to that leg going dead! I’ve never had this issue before in my life! Is anyone else the same?!

I get this also, I noticed over the weekend sleeping on a more springy but fitmer matress that I didnt get as much hip pain on waking, do you have a memory foam matress? Prehaps the extra weight of baby is pushing you into the matress more? But definitely recommend pillow between your knees. I also have a wedge under my hip and that helps a bit to keep everythi g aligned!

Lots and lots of pillows. However many you need to get the support. I found I was still trying to twist and almost on my stomach that was hurting my belly. So I doubled up the pregnancy pillow between my knees.
I sleep with a regular pillow under my head and the pregnancy pillow sideways on the bed only at my knees stacked. Mine is a U shape, so I stack the ends on top of each other.
Get creative. Whatever works for you.
That way, I can still cuddle hubby. But if I find it needs to surround me, I will.

Pillows! Or a good pregnancy pillow. Support under belly, between your legs(so legs are aligned, and definitely for your back

I use the queen rose maternity pillow and it’s been incredible since I’ve got it. I usually still end up rolling onto my back at some point tho QUEEN ROSE Cooling Pregnancy... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BYD4ZSF8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Get this and use a pillow in between your legs. From upper knee to ankle. Saved my life.

I get this too, last couple of nights I’ve given up on the pillow, but then without it I’ve been waking up on my back and panicking.

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
