35 weeks. Piles
35 weeks today.
For the last week I've been pooping like craaaazy.
I now have piles that's so severe it's ridiculous.
I probably could have been drinking more.this.week (family events etc and last week of working ended up being very stressful)
I have been using germoloids suppositories and cream. Does anyone have any other advice?
I'm due to be having this baby in 2/3 weeks and the worst thing in my brain right now is how painful these piles already are and how painful that's gonna be coming out!

Hey im right there with you, I was regular and now I've gone the other way! I've been just sitting in the toilet to shift anything, but Jesus the pain!!!
honestly like the pain after birth last time was bad. I'm now absolutely terrified of having the piles before birth!
It's really quite protruded and painful to even sit right now. I had a day where I must have gone to the bathroom 10+ times and I ignored the initial itchy feeling because I was working and had relatives visiting and I wish I had treated it before it got to this. I'm having an epsom salt bath in a min too see if that helps anything
I know the baby is coming in the next 2/3 weeks as I'm being induced (hopefully might get a date this week or next) but I'm now freaking out about my poor anus 😂🤧😅

I haven't ever had them before but only started with them until a couple of weeks ago, I had to ask my husband what the hell they were!

Your gp can prescribe a steroid cream. I’ve had 2 really severe flare ups this pregnancy. The creams can take a little while to work, my most recent awful flare up took just over a week for it to not hurt at all

oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. I found the Germaloids ointment rather than the cream worked better for me. I also tried using witch hazel diluted and sprayed on a pad helped with a bit of the throbbing pain for a bit. I feel for you because they are just so miserable.

So I have had an. Easier day of it today. Thank you as I rang Dr to see if there was.any other.options than those I knew of / was allergic to. It got reeeeeally bad I was bleeding horrifically at one point
