My little girl is the same, she’s not crawling or anything, she loves to stand but won’t move, like Marie said they’ll do it in they’re own time x
They're only 12 months! It's normal for walking to start anywhere from 9-18 months so definitely relax.
She is fine within the frame - you can encourage by putting stickers on the wall and encourage her to take them Off while standing but she will get there
Mine will be 1 end of month she’s pulling up holding onto things and playing, I do have friends who’s babies are walking but I’m trying not to worry as like others have said it’s still very early
Thanks everyone it’s very kind of you all to be supportive
My guy was standing on furniture for about 1-2 months before taking steps! He only started to really crawl at 11 months too. They are on their own timeline, I’m sure she’s right on track 🤍
It will happen. Only 12 months is still early to be worried. It’s normal if they go up to 18 months old before they walk. My daughter was 16.5 months which is still within a completely normal range. After 18 months if they are not walking, then check for hip dysplasia or other issues. Walking ability usually depends on how much muscle strength is built up, so babies will walk when they get enough strength from regular growth and crawling activities.
