Tides tied after c section

I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant with my second and I’m 35. I know that I only want 2 children and therefore I’m considering having my tubes tied during my elective c section. Has anyone had this done? If so, was there any complications or side effects? I’m concerned my hormones go crazy afterwards and I regret it even though I’m so sure I only want 2 kids

Having your tubes tied (or even removed) shouldn’t affect your hormones because you’d still have your ovaries. I can’t speak for the regret part, as this is a highly personal decision you’re thinking about. I’m having a c section next Friday and I’m going to have my tubes removed because I know that I couldn’t make it through another pregnancy. I would have liked to maybe have another kiddo, but I’m 35 and this will be child #2 for me…my body already feels like it’s falling apart and my mental health has been bad at best during this time :/ whatever your decision, I wish you the best!

I had it done after my 3rd baby with my c-section. No noticeable difference at all. I was 31 when I had it done and I never regretted it!

If you worry you’ll regret it, are you sure on your decision?

I'm 24, will be 25 when i have my second elective c section, and I'm gonna have my tubes tided as i couldn't go through another pregnancy. Following for the same reason x

I had my tubes tied after my second pregnancy as my first pregnancy was rough and ended up in a emergency c-section at 35 weeks and 5 days. I had a lot more pain than what I did with just the pain from the c-section

@Sophie hope my comment helps

Also watching your littles grow up, especially the last baby sometimes there is that. Feeling of I want another
