4m Vaccines

My baby had her shots yesterday and we thought she did fine but this morning she woke up with a fever. We gave her Tylenol per the pediatrician’s suggestion and she threw up everywhere! We are freaking out as this is our first baby. We booked an appt for her this afternoon but am wondering if any of your babies went through something similar?

That’s normal my 4 month old caught a fever after her shots too and she was good the next day after she got her fever but honestly trust your motherly instincts cause when my baby was 2 months she ended up getting RSV and none of the doctors wanted to check cause they thought I was an overreacting new mom but I made them do it and long behold she had RSV. just trust your instincts if you think it’s more than normal

They are usually fussy up to 2-3 days post vaccination,, for fever Tylenol and lots of cuddles,,, my daughter hates Tylenol and usually spit out so I give her in her milk bottle

This is normal. I have 3 kids and something I learned is to give them Tylenol minutes before the shots, or right after the shots. I promise you, your baby is fine. After 1 or 2 days she will fine, like nothing happened. I get so sad when they have their shots, but I always have to remind myself that this is for their own good. Sending you hugs mama.
