Anyone a scholar??
Asalamualikum sister..! So today we had an iftaar party at my aunts house and my mom wanted to make my daughter wear a hijab and read namaaz with everyone which she usually does when praying salaah.! But she ran after my aunts cats upstairs so i also ran after her and we stayed there and i read naamaz upstairs..! Now my mom is saying all sorts of things to me that i broke her heart and all.! She said i made her cry so much in the blessed nights of Ramadan.! Idk what to do..! And i wrong here.!??

Not a scholar and I don't think you need to be one to answer this but how old is your daughter? If she's running after a cat then she's surely young enough to not be obligatory on her to pray. Even so, bit much for your mum to be so upset by you all not praying together. Why would that break her heart? Furthermore, why would it make her cry so much. Sorry, I don't understand maybe there's more context
I dont understand why your mum said what she did. If this is all there is to the story then your mum was a bit more emotional that i would expect from you praying upstairs and not downstairs with everyone.
I think there may be something else going on and you may benefit from talking to your mum to clear the air hun x
