Depending on how swollen your feet are it could just be the extra blood flow you have during pregnancy

they haven’t been huge until today they got super big and taking hours to go down.

You don’t have preclamsia ?

I had these symptoms and was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia.

I was told I do not.

AWESOME news!!! I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia at 34 weeks and had to deliver early. My son is now in the NICU going on ten days 😭

I’m so sorry to hear that, my biggest fear is being diagnosed. I’m currently about to be 36 weeks. They told me that they’ll keep checking each week I’m already scheduled for 38 week delivery but if I do get it I have to deliver 37. The swelling is just worrying me it’s coming on even from doing nothing

I glad you and him both are healthy! That’s is truly scary. It’s just hard bc I don’t know anything and have no one to talk to and I never experienced any of this with my first. What other symptoms did you have ?

my blood pressure was sky high (top number was in the 170’s), my feet were severely swollen, and I had protein in my urine.

have you tried to elevate or stay off your feet for a little bit during each day to see if it helps

Staying off your feet as much as possible helps. I thought I had preeclampsia recently because I woke up with my hands and feet looking like balloons. It was so bad I couldn’t get my wedding ring off for hours. My hands went down but my feet was swollen for about 4-5 days. I just had a doctors appointment and they checked for preeclampsia. Everything is normal and blood pressure is fine, it’s just 3rd trimester messing with the body. Lately my toddler and I have been having lazy days so I can stay off my feet and it has helped sooo much with the swelling. If nothing helps I’d bring it up with the doctor again just to be sure.

I get out of bed and immediately am swelling laying takes HOURS to make it go down the slightest it’s annoying.

my dr just says it’s normal and keep checking weekly for preeclampsia bc I have high blood pressure. So far I do not have it they say which I’m so glad, I’m trying to stay off my feet but it’s just not working. I have no ankles and my dr just says it’s pregnancy but I never had this with my first so it was alarming

I've been having to wear compression socks every day because I'm having the same swelling. I'm not, however, having high blood pressure, just swelling. I'm being checked weekly until delivery because I'm high risk. But everything has been fine so far, so my Dr and I are not going to schedule anything until she thinks I have to for specific reasons.
