Solar eclipse

I have heard the superstitions , how you’re not allowed to leave the house but sadly I have both an appointment & I have to work 😂

Well, I’m remaining neutral to what people and NASA say, but I read that the sun emits harmful radiation during an eclipse that can harm the unborn babies. It is my first baby and I prefer not to risk it.

I mean the reputable scientific community is in agreement that the solar eclipse is perfectly safe and does not produce any harmful effects to people pregnant or not.

I’m glad you’re informed. However, this is a very contradicting topic, so you do whatever you consider its safe for you and your baby.

but it's not really contradictory if the scientific community is in agreement though is it? I don't see any reason to scare pregnant women that will be outside during the eclipse into thinking they're harming their baby.

I was 8 months pregnant with my 7 year old daughter the last time this happened, and I was outside and watched the whole thing. Nothing happened to my daughter lol it’s just a myth.

My mother in law said I have to wear red under my clothes leading up to the eclipse and the day of the eclipse. My fiance wants me to just in case. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t see it doing much, but supposedly it’ll keep the demons away

Yeah, In India we don’t eat and go outside during that time. Put all the curtains on. Try to chant God’s name or play Prayers . Also, take bath when solar eclipse ends.
