Yesterday they finally scheduled me for my anatomy scan, long over due but at this point baby girl is super active and they can’t really get pictures as they want since she’s moving so much. They are telling me, her tummy is small and her head is small, and she is weighing 6lbs 9oz at 39 and 1 day.anybody else had an under weight baby? I had a previous gastric sleeve so I can only eat so
much as a time. They really know how to stress a person out and then say don’t worry about it!

at 38w my little guy weighed 5lbs 11oz. Some babies are just small :) as long as the umbilical cord blood flow looked good, you & baby are probably just fine. Did they order extra monitoring or anything? If they didn’t, then they are truly not worried.
-IUGR mama x2 :)

My perfectly healthy pregnancy produced a 6lbs 2oz baby and she was never considered small? I had her at 39 weeks too.

6 lbs 9 oz baby here 🙋🏼♀️! That was my weight when I was born and the only thing I had wrong with me was that I didn't want to turn, so my mom had a c section with me.
Research shows that average size babies in America are born anywhere from 5 pounds all the way up to right below 9 lbs.

NST and she did great.

Thanks mamas ❤️

Baby sounds like she is the perfect size. Plus, the ultrasounds are a guess, so baby can be bigger or smaller than they measure. I had gastric bypass too, and baby is normal. I just make sure to have an extra protein shake or two per day, depending on energy levels. I also make sure to take my vitamins
