Bedford hospital

Does anyone know when going into hospital for induction or had baby then moved to the ward from delivery if partner is offered meals at meal time or just us??

Hi! Not sure for induction but when I went for planned c section my partner was not offered meals on ward. However, he found the canteen food a lot better than what was on the ward !

Hi my partner wasn't offered food no as its only for the patient, he ended up eating my food on the ward anyway as I wasn't really hungry🤣x

I’ve had two inductions and both times it was just me who was offered a meal

Yeh i have just had my induction last week they dont gave food to the other half only the patient this was at bedford hospital they tell the partner to eat at the canteen

Only the patient is offered food.

I must have been lucky because they offered food to my partner and to my mum as well. Good luck xx

Thanks girls, booked in for induction in just under 2 weeks so just wanted to check! And does anyone know if birthing partner can stay over night or just visiting hours?? My mum wants to stay with me but not sure if she can!

Yes they can stay with you! X

You can have one overnight guests stay with you on post natal but you have to supply your own blankets and pillows apparently (was told this Saturday) as they're in short supply and it's a wooden armchair they can sleep in
