I have only used them a couple of times but that's because I'm too busy to put them on with work and breastfeeding and everything in between. But they do come highly recommended by my ob, who recommended i start using them at my 6 week follow up appt

I used them from the time the scabs had disappeared for about 2-3 months.

Got something on Amazon specifically for this, product seemed good and lot numbered. Once the pack ran out I stopped.

If you read medical studies there is science that backs up scar sheets being effective at reducing the intensity of scar appearances.

However, I personally am not sure they did that much, and they prevented my ability to do strong scar tissue massage ultimately causing me to stop using the sheets.

It felt more important to massage hard into all the layers to reduce stiff, tough scars deeper in the abdomen instead of using the sheets for surface healing. They were too fragile for me to massage on top of.

I’d be open to trying them again as after 9 mos the scar is still fairly pink. If they do help, it’s marginal.

I did! I used the Frida mom silicone strips and it healed sooo nicely and very fast.

My pelvic floor physio and OBGYN both told me that it was not necessary to remove them after the 24 hours and to just keep them on until they didn’t stick anymore. After finishing the pack my physio said that the e scar was moving nicely because they were able to keep in moisture.
I definitely would recommend using them if you have some!!

that’s great! Congrats! I’m 4 weeks post csection. Should I start using them now or should I wait for my 6 week follow up?

honesty I started using them 4days post op. We were lucky to have a midwife come check on us when we were discharged from the hospital and she had given the go-ahead to use them!
