Prolapse and discharge

Hi everyone, I’m currently 12 weeks pp and was diagnosed with a cystocele (bladder prolapse) a couple of weeks ago. Im currently waiting to see the gynae physio but I’d mentioned to my GP that along with the prolapse symptoms, I’ve had a constant odourless yellow discharge since the postpartum bleeding stopped. I’ve had 3 vaginal swabs done all 2 weeks apart since being 6 weeks pp and they’ve all come back as normal. I’ve also had urine samples and bloods done which again were fine. The discharge isn’t urine as it’s a thick consistency but it’s that much that I have to wear pads constantly otherwise it soaks through underwear and even trousers. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? The GP has referred me for an ultrasound but there seems to be a lengthy wait time for this.

This happened after my 9 lb 3oz daughter. Yes it was very weird no 1 understood at the time. Have to try not to do too much.....easier saidnthan done I'm sure from experience and pelvic floor exercises

@KrystleWhen did it stop for you? Between this and the prolapse pain it’s horrendous😩

I had this and it was awful so I feel your pain lol. It did eventually ease off but it took a long time - like months 😣. I believe it is hormone related. Are you breastfeeding? I think that may play a role in it!

@Betsy oh really! Yeah I am breastfeeding but I thought after 3 months it would have at least started to slow down but that’s really not happening😩 literally just time then, there’s nothing I can do to stop it?😩

I know I did too sadly it took forever. It’s annoying because google tells you things will be dry. But not always the case!

@Betsy yes it does!! When in reality it’s like a bloody slip and slide😂😂 did it not stop for you until you stopped breastfeeding?

Lol! I’m still breastfeeding so I still am not back to my normal but it has eased up thankfully!!
