Or do they let you take photo of the screen? If they print a pic, do you have to pay / ask especially , and how many do they print? Thank you

Hi im nottingham nhs and I asked for 5 they handed me them and no one asked for money soooo i just leftššso you may be lucky.

They usually donāt let you take any photos/videos in the actual room but most (if not all) trusts will offer you a photo. It varies by trust, but I had to pay Ā£5 for mine (Norfolk & Norwich hospital). I was also offered more than one but they wouldāve been identical pictures - I didnāt get the choice of having multiple (different) photos x

It really depends. I had to pay for mine, it was 2 pounds per picture at West Middlesex Hospital. I only got one but saw some couples leaving with about 5 of them!

You can ask for pictures, think we could choose between 1 for £5 or 3 for £10, they print the picture and then you have to pay afterwards at a machine.
Received 3 different pictures. (Kings mill hospital)

Never had to pay for any at Salisbury Hospital (Wiltshire)

You definitely wonāt be aloud to take pics of screen
They will print them off for you
My hospital gave me 10 for free but I no other hospitals might charge a small amount x

They printed me two for free at St Michael's in Bristol :)

Itās Ā£5 for one and Ā£20 for 8 in Brighton x

Paid £7 for 4 at Leeds

I wasnāt allowed to use my phone and she asked if we wanted pictures. I said yes and she printed 4, then said I didnt have to pay for them x

Since when do you have to pay for scan pictures wow Iām shocked

They gave me 3 for free at St Michael's in Bristol š

I paid £7 for 8 photos, 4 were of the same image though to give to family. (Leeds).

Ours ( Exeter ) is done by donation. You normally get 3 pictures, the lady printed me off 6! And Iāve never felt more privileged 𤣠thereās a donation pot at the reception x

It was £20 for 6 in Teesside. She let us pick the ones we wanted then she took them to reception. I had to go to the machine and get a recipet for the £20 paid then they gave me my pictures xx

Ours printed 4 and didnāt charge - although they said they would on the letter!

I paid £5 each and bought 3 pics, but the sonographer gave me 5. I'm in Bristol x

She gave me 3 and told me to pay for one , I canāt remember already how much it was , under Ā£5

I was given 5 pictures and I didnāt have to pay for any of them. I did read something in the waiting room that said they legally have to provide you with any photos they have of baby for free, due to GDPR, so you could always pull that one if they try charging you š š¤·š»āāļø

I got 6 free pics at Royal berks in Reading.

Just a heads up - we got lucky that there was actually a really clear shot available but our scanner never asked if we wanted any pictures and was focusing on her measurements rather than giving us a clear view of baby so we couldāve ended up without. All we saw during the scan was individual body parts. We had a bad experience and not saying you will but may be worth asking about pictures at the start as a prompt. To be fair if there wasnāt a clear picture I wouldāve demanded she scan me again for one. š

Iām under Kings College London. They donāt print off photos I was pre warned by a friend about this or would have been disappointed. They just asked us at the end if we wanted to take a picture on the screen and went through the best shots.
