I noticed on my badger notes that there was an appointment booked for when I’m 22 weeks, it’s not my scan as that’s already booked. There’s no info given, I will see my midwife on Friday so can ask then.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be for?

a few of mine say that but i have the corresponding letters? did you get anything in the post ??
nope, nothing in the post at all. I’m very confused😂 I’ll ask midwife when I see her on Friday X

I would just ask your midwife on Friday! Are you classed as high risk? I would have maybe said it was for gestational diabetes but even then it’s from 24+ weeks 😅 no clue what it could be. If your midwife is unsure ring the hospital you’re going to and ask the antenatal ward x
I am classed as high risk and was for my previous pregnancy but I’m sure I didn’t see the consultant until 28 weeks😅 I shall see what Friday brings X

Maybe looking at your previous birth and why it makes you high risk? I had an appointment but they did it with my 12 week scan so they might just want to talk to you before you get further along to make sure you’re at ease! Not long now to know!x

I've got my 20 weeks scan but then I haven't got midwife appointment until 25 weeks

I’ve got a 22 week appointment too. My midwife said it’s just to go through the 20 week scan, any concerns and then the usual blood pressure and urine check. That appointment is in addition to my consultant one at 24 weeks x

Could it be whooping cough vaccine?
Problem solved😂 received a letter today it’s with the consultant

Some women have a scan between 21-23 weeks to check placenta of high risk for pre eclampsia

never heard of this before, I had preeclampsia with my son and it created so many problems 🥲 I wonder if it depends on where in the UK you are
