Constantly have to encourage speech

My little boy is 3 and is a gestalt learner. He has now got a wide range of speech and can put three word sentences together but he always chooses to go back to 1 word. Eg 'Box' but he can say 'i want the box'. We have to encourage him every time he speaks to use more words. I would say 'what do you want' and then he would say 'i want the box'.
Not sure if it's now laziness or if I should ignore him until he expands on what he wants. I don't want him to regress. Any advice?

I'm not an expert, I'm still learning for my son, but If your son is a Gestalt Language Processor do you know roughly what stage in the NLA he is mostly at?
If "I want the box" was previously a Gestalt, could he be starting to break the Gestalt up into their individual words? I think this is stage 3 NLA. Again I'm no expert, however bohospeechie on Instagram is a GLP expert, and very frequently does "ask me anything" sessions within her stories where she posts her response.

Yes I believe he is stage 3, possibly starting to move into stage 4. Although I'm still not convinced he is 100% gestalt learner as he knew lots of single words and started to combine 2 words before the scripting started.

Ms Rachel ??

How many of you are putting ms Rachel on??? I’ve just introduced it to my 8 month old and it’s like sorcery. I feel so guilty putting it on because LO don’t take his eyes off the screen, but it’s the only way I’m getting 20/30 minutes during Velcro baby stage. I’ll put it on twice a day for up to 30 mins at a time, the rest of the time we’re out the house, playing with toys or he’s with me doing jobs around the house. Should I even feel guilty?😩

Thoughts on this pram?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and thinking of prams to get my baby. I saw this on Amazon and it seems affordable, plus the reviews are very positive about the quality of the product. Are there any mamas in the group that got this specific model? If so, how did you find it?

Moving while asleep

My 12 week old has been sleeping through the night (8 hours) for the last week and a half and since the 3rd or 4th night he's been wriggling his way to the other end of his crib to the point where his head is cocked to the side
He seems fine but it looks uncomfortable and ive always been told he needs to have his feet touching the bottom of his bed and if I move him back he wakes up.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did you leave it? Are there any potential issues if I do leave it?

Night wakes

I don’t mind waking in the night for my baby. But every 2 hours, sometimes 1 is starting to have an impact on me. His sleep changed when he turned 3 months. We have had a couple nights of longer stretches, but that was all for the last 5 weeks. I just want a longer stretch back. 😅 I am aware it is so developmentally normal to wake at this age. I did expect to have slightly longer stretches by now though. I understand it could be a regression!

In my head this is my life now. When you are in it, it seems forever. It doesn’t help society has expectations of longer sleep as the baby comes out of the newborn stage. I am not looking for advice as I know it’s a phase, just reassurance!

Please don’t comment if your baby sleeps through the night 😂
