Hair loss

Any tips or tricks for postpartum hair loss? I’m currently 5 months postpartum and at this rate going to be bald, if I keep losing hair the way I am. I’m African American so I have kept my hair braided down and wearing wigs to see if it will help but no luck. I started taking hair, skin, and nails pills about a month ago (has biotin) and figured it would’ve helped some. I washed my hair today and can show reference on how much I lose on average. Any help would be appreciated!!

I’m currently pregnant so I haven’t experienced this yet/ firsthand. But I heard still taking your prenatal vitamins postpartum help

Hey hey , so yes Amaya gave great advice with the prenatals ! Also dr miracle has a growth oil that works amazingly, be careful with the wigs , the ones with the combs tend to rub out your edges , I would recommend a crochet hairstyle I know most women don’t like them but they help your hair grow!! When done correctly. Especially with still having access to your scalp !! I’ll send a pic of the oil , I would recommend using it at least 3 times a week ! Black castor oil is also an option

that makes sense bc I took the for awhile with my first pregnancy and I didn’t experience it

Castor oil helped me. When I tell you I had absolutely no edges I was sooooo sad I have very pretty hair. My edges came back in literally 2 weeks seriously. My baby hair had fell out from cradle crap and I used it all through his hair and it grew back so freaking fast.

Ms Rachel ??

How many of you are putting ms Rachel on??? I’ve just introduced it to my 8 month old and it’s like sorcery. I feel so guilty putting it on because LO don’t take his eyes off the screen, but it’s the only way I’m getting 20/30 minutes during Velcro baby stage. I’ll put it on twice a day for up to 30 mins at a time, the rest of the time we’re out the house, playing with toys or he’s with me doing jobs around the house. Should I even feel guilty?😩

Leaky nappy advice

We use mamia nappies and have had no issue until now. We are using size 3 but she is leaking through them every night as she sleeps through the night. We’ve tried 4+ for night but they are still too big. Does anyone have any advice or any other brand that might hold more in a size 3?

Thoughts on this pram?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and thinking of prams to get my baby. I saw this on Amazon and it seems affordable, plus the reviews are very positive about the quality of the product. Are there any mamas in the group that got this specific model? If so, how did you find it?

Toddler tippy toeing

My daughter is two been tippy toeing ever since shes learned how to walk. Not sure if it’s a phase or if it’s autism. If it helps shes also a really active baby. Has anyone experienced this with their toddler?

TBH

To be honest- I’m starting to hate that my husband gets to sleep peacefully , getting virtually uninterrupted sleep, while I’m being woken up every other moment by our 5 month old 🙃 I’m so so tired, my body hurts, and I have a little cold that won’t go away. My baby sleeps next to me and feeds on demand (it’s my fault, I know). I tried to regulate him without the boob, tonight, and he started crying. My husband tried to soothe him for less than a minute, but I took him back when I saw my husband was getting irritated by him crying. I ended up feeding him until he was mostly asleep, now he’s sleeping on my chest. I’m awake, I have to use the bathroom, and forgot to take my contacts out, and put nursing pads in, but I’m stuck. Meanwhile, my husband went back to sleep immediately 😮‍💨😤 how do people do this long term? 😩
