Nappy changing in the middle of the night

Just random one I don’t know if I need to or not but I still change my babies bum in the middle of the night and sometimes it annoys him and wakes up I just get so worried he will have a bum rash if don’t do it. I don’t know if I should leave him if he is happy or what…
What do you mums do?

I don’t change him unless he gets wet. I always change him before bed and first thing in the morning.

I change my daughter nappy as close to as bedtime as I can and then change it as soon as she wakes up in the morning. I don’t wake her up in the night to change only if her nappy has leaked if it hasn’t been on right x

I don’t change in the middle of the night. My little one stays in the same nappy for about 12hrs overnight and she has never had a nappy rash. She doesn’t have a bottle before bed anymore but even when she did we never had any leaks. If she woke in the middle of the night and needed it changed then I would do it x

I’ll change my sons in the night if it feels really heavy like it may leak or if he’s showing signs that he’s uncomfortable. Otherwise I leave him. He does leak through about once a week but it’s always just before he’s getting up for the morning. Put some nappy cream on just to prevent nappy rash if you’re worried x

I never wake him up he has never had a rash. Nappies are pretty good these days

⬆️ same as. I never wake or disturb my little one to change his nappy. He’s never had nappy rash either. Just a bigger nappy size for bed to hold more and last longer. Then changed when he’s up in the morning x

You don’t need to do that unless he has done a poo. We never wake up for wees or change in the night and he’s never had nappy rash x

As above, we never wake our little one in the night for a nappy change. The last change before bed I just put a ‘generous’ amount of nappy cream on. She’s never had nappy rash xx

We also try to change as close to bed, after the bedtime bottle if possible. We use pull ups at night and I change her first thing in the morning x

I’ve not changed my wee boy overnight in a long time. I put a size bigger pampers nappy on him for overnight.

I change him before bed and then after breakfast (he eats first thing as is always ravenous!)
He goes to bed around 7:30/8pm and when I go up at midnight I have a feel, if it’s full I’ll change (rare it’s full) xx

We only ever change her bum in night if she’s wide awake already, or she’s done a poo. If not if wakes her up. Not changed her in night from about 8 weeks x

Blood in baby’s poo

Ladies, I’ve just changed my baby and noticed some blood on his poo and on the diaper. The poo was quite soft, not pebbly and he wasnt straining or anything like that. Anyone had anything like this before? What is it? Shall i call the GP?

Help

Hi mamas! Has anyone dealt with their baby’s hair clumping at the back of their head? I tried baby oil to loosen it but no luck so far. Any advice?

Struggling

My baby’s 5 weeks old and I am really struggling. I knew it would be hard but it’s so much harder in reality. She won’t be put down without waking up after 5 minutes. Won’t be put down at night either. I can’t do anything without doing it one handed holding her. Every night she spends hours being stressed and crying and really difficult to console, fighting sleep and nothing I do seems to help her for more than 30 seconds. I’m just putting this out there wondering if others are going through the same. It’s a lot.

Naps etc

Hi
I have 15 week old little girl and I was just wanting advice of what other people
Do about naps in the day, she is a contact Napper, is anyone else’s baby like this or do they let you put them down, or do people do naps in the next to me with a camera etc?

Just wanting to know other people in my situations routine of how many naps do they have a day, last nap time and night time routine? We was getting somewhere with sleep, up to 5 hour stretches but over last week we have gone back to 3 hourly feeds on the dot, any advice will help!

Thanks

Wake windows

My 12 week old can just about do 60mins. I've tried extending it but she gets overtired really quickly.

What's everyone else's wake windows and how many hours are your babies napping?

Is it really necessary to change the nipple flow?

Hi moms ! Is it really necessary to change the flow of the nipples ? Or I can just stay with the same one ? Also, is okay that I use the same bottles and nipples for my next baby?
