Not walking

My friends little one was 18 months when he started walking he's 2 now and you wouldn't kno at all climbing jumping etc I'm sure her health visitor said they wouldn't be worried until 2 x

My daughter has only just started to walk at 16 months. I was worried but everyone said the ‘normal’ range is quite large. No need to worry at all. The information I found said…If, however, your child is unable to stand, support themselves, or walk by the age of 18 months then see advice.

He is so good at pulling himself up and supporting himself and is constantly walking around furniture. Just hasn’t been confident enough to take first steps yet. Xxx

My daughter was the same, then within the space of 2 weeks started walking! Literally only been a week where she has been walking alone around the house unaided. We still can’t believe it!

Mines not pulling up or even cruising yet so try not to worry ☺️

GPS and HV won’t consider a delay until 18 months. You’ve nothing to worry about and there’s still plenty of time. My daughter isn’t walking yet, she’ll walk with a walker if she feels like it and she’s cruising and she’s just started to stand independently for a few seconds so she’s getting there.
You just have to keep encouraging, getting them up and moving things out of reach so they’re forced to push themselves a little bit. My HV said to have a table they can stand and play at and the putting something out the way for them to pull up and reach

It’s so frustrating though, I get it, when you see all the other babies walking he’ll get there when he’s ready

Mine has taken few steps to me and his dad across the room but still isn’t doing it properly
