Not sure on their age but my little one has been seeing them since about 2. At that age they just have them play with some toys to see what their speech is like and might ask them some questions (what colour is that cup, can you hand me the blue car, etc) it's really just to evaluate at that stage. My little one is about to turn 4 and they are still just monitoring her atm as they can't do a whole lot of formal therapy with them until they get a bit older. They were super lovely though and had some great advice.
@Nik thank you, my daughter is pretty much 2.5 and has her first appointment tomorrow and I just wanted to know what to expect. More for my sake than hers to be honest
