Belly not popping

Hi! I’m watching greys anatomy right now lol but it all depends on how your baby is positioned. I didn’t start to show until 2 weeks ago and I’m currently 30 weeks. Enjoy not showing bc nothing fits me anymore 😂

i literally just watched the episode where Jackson and April learn about their first baby's health issues and now im worried. I have an appointment Tuesday but all they do at these appointments is measure my belly (telling me its small) and check the heartbeat.

I’m on season 11 ep 14 lol I just watched that 😂 but don’t be worried!! My husband hates watching it with me bc I think every episode where something bad happens to a baby will happen to me but the doctor would have went into depth if it was something they were really concerned about. Just voice your concerns and don’t leave until they answer all your questions and put your mind at ease.

I’m almost 30 weeks an people think I’m 3 months pregnant so I’m right with ya girl but I’m measuring just as I should even know I’m so tiny just because you got a small belly doesn’t mean your lil one isn’t growing that was my concern also because I weigh 117 and literally look 3 months but baby is health an growing from what my ob told me is as long as your belly is grown as it should when they measure ur belly and there not worried then your lil one has room to grow!

The doc will be able to tell you more at your growth scans but I’m sure you’re good 💜 my baby is small & my belly looks more like 5 months but she’s healthy!

as far as i can tell, im not getting any more scans. After the anatomy scan my OB's office made it seem like that was the last one id be getting. I go get 3D/4D ultrasounds (paying out if pocket for them instead of through insurance) just so i can have a chance to see my son.

that’s odd, they should do an ultrasound soon to find out if your baby is at its goal weight. I would straight up ask. What did they say last time?

at my last appointment they said my fundus was measuring small, then that i didn't need to come in for 5 weeks. Which confused me cause i was about to enter the 3rd trimester which means i should have biweekly checks. I go on Tuesday so i will DEFINITELY be asking. My normal OB has been booked up and im seeing all the other doctors in the practice at the moment so i dont even know which doctor im seeing

that’s bs. If it wasn’t so late I would def suggest switching OBs. I’m sorry you are going through this & 5 weeks wait is insane!
If push comes to shove I would complain. If nothing comes of that, I would pack a bag & go to the ER to be on the safe side. They’ve had me doing non stress tests at the perinatal center since 28 weeks because she’s a half lb behind. They’ll check her cord to see if she’s getting enough nutrients on Monday. Your doc needs to take better care of you two. That’s unacceptable.

💯 Definitely Agree, that Dr sucks & isn't making u a priority !!! Sounds like u're just getting basic 1st trimester appts... 3rd trimester u're supposed to be seen bi-wkly, getting anatomy scans, baby measurements & being able to get ultrasound pics of baby !!! Wish u could get another OB, but yeah definitely complain & stay on them !!! You & baby deserve top notch care ... 🫶🏽🙌🏽💯🤰🏽
