Natera/NIPT results

Hi all!
Wondering when/how you all received instructions on how to access the portal with your results? I took my test this last week but I haven’t been contacted and I’m not sure if that’s normal.

When they recieve your sample at the lab, they text/email you with instructions on how to sign in to your account

I was sent a link via text about 3 days after the appointment telling me my Natera account was set up and I could log in and then I got my results after 7 days but maybe they’re waiting til the results are ready to set up your account which can be up to 2 weeks but usually sooner

It took a little over a week for us to hear the results. They should call you.

You should just be able to make an account

I had my test done on 4/15. The hospital told me it would take 72hrs. I logged into Natera portal and it said my results from test done on 4/15 would not be available to view until 4/30. I thought the website said result would be returned to doctor 5-7 days after sample is received.

did you get yours ?

Yes! I got my results on 4/20. Baby is healthy and it’s a girl ❤️. What about you?

how many total days? I am still waiting 🤗 but they received my sample only this last Friday

it took only 5 days for my dr to receive the results which were auto uploaded to my patient chart I could access which was good. And the Natera site notified me a few days after my Dr received.

Feeling guilty on first born

I’m being induced on Friday and I’ve just put my little girl to bed and am so upset that it won’t be just us anymore. Obviously we’re so excited for her new sister but I just feel guilty and sad that things won’t be the same again.

Does anyone else feel like this? 😞😞😞

Goal weight gain:

So I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my second baby. With my first baby I gained the maximum recommended weight weight for my starting weight I was 165lbs (give or take a little) I got up to 190lbs.
With this pregnancy my starting is 148lbs my goal is to gain no more than 25lbs and for the first trimester try not to gain any weight at all.

I have people in my life that think I need to just eat what ever and not take care of my self (in the sense of eating whatever I want and not working out anymore) because I’m pregnant. Now don’t get me wrong I eat my cravings but I don’t over indulge and I also am over all more into healthier and filling meals.

I get hungry about 4-6 times a day and if I don’t eat I get seriously sick so I have adjusted my life to make it work.

My poll is: do/did you have really bad cravings?

Any Guesses?

Think I’m only 11 weeks 6 days so might be too early to tell… I thought I was even earlier!

37 weeks ! 😬

I literally only have two doctor appointments left until I'm supposed to be due . I'm super excited and nervous at the same time, but I went to the doctor and I'm only one centimeter dilated so I'm just curious if any other first time moms gave birth earlier than their due date or is normal to go past your due date ? TIA ☺️

Dumb question

So I’m 35 weeks and 3 days and I’m starting to experience Braxton hicks and it just started Friday. I do have an ob appointment on Friday coming up. Has anybody else experienced Braxton hick and were you dilated before your next appointment?
