I took my son to the beach last April. I believe he was a little over a year. He didn’t really like the water much, big scary ocean to him and I don’t think we stayed long. They don’t recommend you take your baby anywhere until after 6-8 weeks so I don’t know where that falls in your timeline, my son was a winter baby so it was much easier to stay inside😂
What are your concerns with taking the baby? I don’t see any issues at all. But, we also take our baby pretty much everywhere.
I took my daughter to the beach when she was 8 weeks old. We had a beach tent and she wore a hat the whole time but she loved the sand in her toes! We had a great time!
I live by a beach and have been taking my baby there pretty much weekly, summer and winter, pretty much as soon as I was able to walk and carry him comfortably postpartum. Don't see any issue with it.
Heck yeah
My mom took me to the beach when I was 4 days old. I don’t see why you can’t! Bring an umbrella to block from the sun and all should be fine!
Took baby to the beach at 6weeks! When I was ready. Will take my 3rd as soon as I want to. I always have a little shade tent for them. They sleep and play with toys. Same as being home. But I think the waves are soothing.
Yes!! I'm from the beach originally, and I waited a solid 6 weeks. Then, it used appropriate protection. No sunscreen until I think 6 months? Fact check that, though, could be 1 year.
