Kendamil

Has anyone tried kendamil for their LO? How was it? My almost 12 weeks old baby has watery green poop. She has tried ready to feed enfamil and good start and has still the same poop. We tried enfamil powder also but she just doesn’t like it.

Green watery poop in a baby that old is completely normal

I wouldn’t suggest giving those formulas. I import Kendamil and it’s the best formula you can get. My son has been on it since he was born and it’s amazing. We had to switch to the goat Kendamil because I read that’s better for reflux and it’s been going great too but both are amazing.

Kendamil is AMAZING! Best formula ever. I will say you can also try Nutramigen by enfamil if you want something hypoallergenic. It worked for my baby after trying almost every formula. Now he’s on Kendamil it’s also an amazing option

i would say it’s normal too but hers is always explosive.

i really can’t stand the smell of nutramigen tho. If she doesn’t like the Kendamil i guess we’ll use nutramigen then.

Yes! I got the organic one but that one is also good! They don’t use palm oil, they use a different type of dha. It’s honestly SO good. The other formulas we get in the u.s and Canada are disgusting it makes me sad that it’s normalized but it’s pure garbage. So I’m glad they are bringing better options to North America! It honestly makes his poops not even smell that bad. If she’s still having trouble try a goat milk formula! I buy in bulk off British baby shop :)

that’s what i’ve read also. Thank you for the information. It really is frustrating that we don’t have that much option here. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It makes me so mad! I wasn’t able to breast feed but I researched soooo much in case I couldn’t and I can’t believe the stuff they add to baby food. Or our food for that matter. Don’t ever give your precious baby any Gerber products either. I’ve recently seen so much from moms on tiktok about serious health issues and babies even dying from some of their crap products. I’m not an expert but if you ever have questions I’ve done a ridiculous amount of research haha 🤓

Are you in the states or Canada? There’s an amazing forumla called Bobbie I wish so badly we had in Canada but I emailed them and they don’t ship here yet.

My LO will not poop on enfamil but had no problem with kendemil. We rarely supplement with formula but when we have in the past she got backed up for 11 days had to give her peg and was not a fan however on kendemil we do not have that issue (she gets formula maybe three times a week when mom needs a break)

yes it smells horrible! but you kinda get used to it lol

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
