Learn more about our guidelines.Nutramigen has to be made with room temp water, as it has LGG in to help babies tummies, pepti can be made like normal formula I think, it’s whatever works best for your baby, mine didn’t agree with nutramigen, but it’s amazing for other babies c
Personally I requested aptamil as I didn’t like the ingredients of the nutramigen (first ingredient is glucose syrup and second is vegetable oil). I understand why those ingredients are in there but as they’re the first ingredients, that’s what the formula is primarily made from. But, some babies can only tolerate nutramigen and some only Aptamil Pepti. Apparently Aptamil is more creamy and less smelly so more tolerated by babies too
My little one is on nutrimigen, after a product recall in January it's near impossible to get right now. We haven't tried pepti so can't say about that but they way you make up nutrimigen is so easy and convenient I'd be reluctant to change unless we really had to, to me it's worth the stress of traveling far and wide to get it. But it is stressful. 🫣
@Hayley hey I have a small nutramigen tin (first stage) that I was prescribed but never used. Please message me if you’d like it! I know the stress of not knowing if you’ll have another tin of formula! I believe I got this one in Feb so should be okay?!
@Parris oh that would be amazing thank you so much. Happy to send over money via paypal for postage! It is so stressful , I just don't understand why they make it so hard to get our babies food!
Nutramigen milk proteins are more broken down compared to aptamil x
@Hayley no worries at all! Can you message me where want me to send it? X
