Worried

I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid. But my little girl has been walking since she was 10 months, she’s now almost 13 months and is still quite wobbly, she falls over a lot etc. I’ve recently noticed her right leg seems to bow when she’s walking. Again I don’t know if I’m just being dramatic, but I have added a video just to get some more opinions. This is my second child and I never noticed anything like this with my first, although I know every child is different!

It's probably worth getting her checked out just to put your mind at ease. It could well be nothing at all but I can see what you mean about her leg, and I think one of the questions on the 12 month review is "does your child use both arms/legs equally?" so you could bring it up as a concern about that question if she hasn't already had hers.

@Holly A few people have mentioned the way she walks and today I’ve really noticed it. We had her review a little while ago, just before she started walking so I didn’t know about it at the time 😣 but I think I probably will get her checked out just to put my mind at ease, thank you!

You should have a 1 year review with your health visitor, If you haven’t already I’d call and check it out xx

@Lydia we had it a while ago, before she was walking. I’m going to call tomorrow to see what they think, thank you xx

Hope all goes well, she looks like a healthy happy girl xxx

Let us know how you get on :) the good news is even if it is a thing, the earlier it's looked at the better she'll respond to anything they might need to do to help her straighten it out. Their bones and joints are so flexible at this age it's literally the best time xx

@Lydia thank you, oh she’s a chunk the girl loves her food 🤣🤣xxx

@Holly I will do, I have just contacted the doctors so just waiting for them to get back to me xx
