Implant and periods
Just started on the implant, and I've only had it in for a few hours, and I've already started on my period 10 dags early, but I'm unbelievably heavy. Does anyone know anything that can help

I had one everyday with the implant. You’ve just introduced a hormone into your system so your cycle won’t be your cycle anymore, you may experience what I did or you may not get one at all, regularity is not the norm though.
I take tranexamic acid for heavy bleeding, might be worth ringing GP x
@Donnesha yeah and as soon as I had it put in I started bleeding
I had bleeding everyday for 6 months but only lightly after that nothing for the rest of the years it was in x
I bled everyday for 8 months with the implant. As soon as I took it out my periods went back to normal
