Mucus Plug

I’ve woken up for my routine wee at 5 to 6 this morning and I’ve lost my mucus plug! I’ve been having lots of period pain type pain for the last two days since having a sweep on Wednesday. This was more consistent last night and I’ve got a dull ache this morning. Seen by doctors yesterday - no concerns with scan or myself. How long after losing the plug/having a bloody show did others start getting contractions? I’m 40+2 today 🩵

I had a sweep on Sunday I was already 2cm (38+3). Started losing my plug on Monday had cramping and irregular contractions over Monday/ Tuesday. Lost a lot more of my plug quite consistently on Wednesday, cramps intensified and were irregular all day untill 11pm. Had my little boy yesterday morning at 6am.

i had a sweep and lost my mucus plug that day, baby was born 2 days later :)x
