Hey Roxy, thanks for getting in touch! We have read into to it and it looks like first we would have to go through IUI if we can get the funding. I’m just wondering how long the process was, I mean I called the GP today and it’s two weeks before I can have a phone call 🤦🏽♀️ but then again after this unsuccessful attempt feeling like I need a little break in between.
My wife and I had NHS treatment. Happy to answer any questions.
Hiya so depends where you live and what health board you are with! We are in Scotland and Edinburgh clinic. We didn’t realise we could get funded treatment so only found out when we called to arrange private treatment. Annoyingly it was 18 month waiting list (donor shortage added to this) so we started much later than we wanted. But ultimately it would have saved us thousands so we went down the NHS route and waited. They started all the tests and appointments about 6 months into the waiting list and then we had our first appointment a few months before starting IUI x
