First holiday abroad

In June me and my partner will be going on holiday to the canaries with our daughter. She will have just turned 3 months 2 weeks before. Looking for any advice for travelling with a little one and anything which is essential to pack in her suitcase Thanks

We’re going away in July to Tenerife. Haven’t had my baby yet so don’t have experience but from doing research I’ve bought a portable bassinet to either go inside the hotel travel cot or to move around the hotel room. We’ve got the doona but also taking a lie flat buggy so baby has room while it’s hot. I’ve bought ear defenders for the plane/ loud places as our LO will only be 9 weeks. Sunsafe suits and baby suncream although I have no intentions of her going in the sun and I don’t really think she’ll enjoy the water but will let her paddle her legs. I do have a snoozeshade but I’m a bit weary of using it so just going to try it out on the pram without baby in it first, or use it of an evening. I have a rechargeable pram fan and parasol. I will probably take our Gro egg room thermometer too as we go in July.

Perfect age to go! Super easy to travel and you can enjoy your holiday :) Does your car seat clip on to your pram? Our z2 clipped on to our yoyo so we take that when we travel. A little pram fan is handy. Just avoid the sunshine.

Dino supermarket own nappies worked amazingly for us

My daughter had just turned one when we went away but I found the essentials for us were the fans you attach to the prams (I brought a few so that I could leave some charging in the room ready for the evening time), swimming nappies - I just brought one back of the Huggies and I just reused them, as soon as I took them off I just let them dry (obviously is she had a poo I would bin), Milton tablets with small collapsable bucket to sterilise bottles etc. I packed soo many clothes for the day time that she didn’t even wear so just try not to over pack. I also found that the rooms can be quite cool due to the AC so I packed a 0.5 tog sleeping bag which worked amazingly! I also brought a blow up ring and filled it with water so that she could splash around to keep cool which stayed next to our sunbeds. If you have a shop near you then fab! I wouldn’t take too many nappies as you can just buy them out there xx

We’re planning to go in June and our baby will be 4 months then. Nappies/swim nappies, pram fan, Milton cold water sterilising tablets, tog sleeping bag due to the AC, calpol

Thankyou so much ❤️
