Painful everything!

Hey... Half a rant and half advice!

Currently 30 weeks pregnant and for the past few days my physical body aches and pains have gotten so bad. Now I can't get myself up and do a few steps without wanting to cry in agony. My vagina, legs, feet, arms and hands are all really swollen and throb. (Not to mention all of the other symptoms)

I'm still working and I pay all the bills in the household. (My partner's still waiting for his NI number so can't work yet) So I don't want to take my MAT leave yet because it's not financially viable...

I just don't know what to do, or how to make anything easier for myself. No matter what I tell the midwife or the doctor they will tell me everything is only going to get worse.

Have you tried ringing triage? It’s not normal to be in so much agony.

So at the start of the day I'm usually not in as much pain so I'll utilise that time to slowly cook, clean and go for a little walk. But then after that my body is too weak for absolutely anything else, and the amount I can do is dramatically decreasing every day. I hate not being productive so even if I can do 30 minutes of chores and get outside in the morning I will 100% make the effort to.
The GP has told me that it will only get worse and it's all normal pregnancy symptoms.
I have an office based job, at the start of my pregnancy they were so much more lenient about working from home but as time has passed they said they can't accommodate it anymore- I'm going to email a formal request on Monday.

If your partner can’t work and you’re still working then leave the cooking and cleaning to him. I’m certainly noticing I’m getting tired a lot easier just doing simple things so if you’ve got to continue working give yourself a break from everything else and make sure you make time to look after yourself and relax, take a bath etc x

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
