Baby rash
Hey everyone
My LO just got this rash within the last 3-4 hours… she hasn’t eaten anything new or had anything different on her skin.
She has had a cough for the last 3-4 days but nothing other than a cough and now this rash. No fever, runny nose, etc… Any ideas on what it could be?

Looks like drool rash or eczema. My LO gets it a lot! Put some barrier cream like baby Aquaphor or baby Eucerin on it and see if it gets better. Obviously go to the doctor if it spreads. My LO had to have prescription cream because hers got so bad.
Was the food she had really acidic? Or maybe could be abrasive like toast or something?
Looks like a drool rash. My boy gets them while teething from the extra slobber
no, nothing like that. She had green beans and noodles. I even didn’t give her fruit cause i know it’s acidic and it makes her break out quick. She has eczema and around her mouth always gets so red whenever she’s eating, even when I’m constantly wiping her face.
yeah… I thought so too. She has 4 top teeth coming in right now, she’s been leaving drool puddles on the sheets even when she’s sleeping 😭
yes it was eczema! I put some hydrocortisone on her face and it got a little better within an hour and almost away by the next day. Her face will start to get red/break out around her mouth even when she’s eating some foods. Her skin is just so sensitive ☹️
