Advice

So last night I woke up with an extreme headache in the middle of the night, I took 2 nerophen and then later realised that I should not of taken ibuprofen during pregnancy. I’m 25+2 and I’ve not felt him move all morning and been up since half 6 now. I’m a little worried. Any advice on what I should do x

I believe if it’s a one off mistake, it should be fine. Also I went to triage some weeks ago as I didn’t feel the baby moving the whole night/early morning, they’ve assured me to not worry about night and early morning, however if you don’t feel any movements during the day time then defo go in the evening. If that makes sense!

Also, regardless of everything, trust your gut… if you feel worried just go and check for your own piece of mind ❤️

It’s almost certainly fine however I would not hesitate to give triage a call, it’s what they’re there for, they will not mind. I wouldn’t wait until evening, do it now, they will give you advice over the phone and perhaps ask to see you for reassurance.

If you want baby to move you could try drinking a glass of cold water , it has worked for me a couple of times when I wanted to feel a movement 😇 I hope everything is okay xx

Try drink something sugary

they advise against this now. Triggering the baby to move is not the same as knowing if regular movements have reduced and we have to learn to get to know what these are.
If movements have reduced call triage for advice. One off ibuprofen shouldn't be an issue as I believe it is more to do with baby's development if used regularly.
