Burping (formula fed)

I started just letting my little girl go to the end of her 5oz she’s 10 weeks as well because she fusses so much when you stop half way where as she finishes her 5oz and winds really well doesn’t seem to have any issues afterwards

Yep I have the same. I tell him to finish his Milkies and shhh him, he does take it eventually and finish the bottle. He gets fussy if it gets too cold too so I have to tell him it’s the same bottle we put down 10 seconds ago. Little rascles

Yeh same, but had a few bouts of trapped wind and screaming baby after doing bottle in one go so have gone back to burping halfway.

My little one 10 weeks tomorrow and I have always let him do the whole bottle and then burped him at the end.

If I take it out his mouth early he will just cry and won’t burp. He’s on 6ozs now x

my girl is the exact same if I burp her half way she goes mad then won’t burp at the end so it works for her to drink it all then wind x

Ours is the same. She’s on 5oz but usually she gets down to about 2oz and then I burp her and then she’s not interested so I just let her sit up and have a little bounce and look around and then try again after 10 mins and she will have a bit more but isn’t as interested. She’s 7 weeks x

Same here. I’ve seen so much about how we must pace feed so we’ve been trying it but it just makes baby boy so frustrated and fussy. If we just let him take as much as he wants until we can see he needs a burp/wind he defo drinks more and seems happier.
So hard to know what to go with when so much different guidance xx
