It’s my daughter’s 2nd birthday coming up and I am stuck on what to get her for her birthday. I have thought about a balance bike, but I’m a first time mum with no mum friends, so I’m not sure if 2 years old is too young and will it actually be used?
Any experienced mums who have a child who uses a balance bike - is 2 years old too young for one? Would her 3rd birthday be a better idea?

Not too young. I got my baby one for her 1st birthday and she can move along on it fine, just can't steer so 2 is probably a great age

We got our little boy one, and maybe took him a couple of months to get the hang of it, but he absolutely LOVES it now 🥰

Definitely not too young.
Thanks all, that’s made my mind up then and going to order one now! 🙏🏻😊

Got my girl for her 2nd birthday in January, she's still getting the hang of it but definitely not too young 😊

My eldest got one at 2 and he never got the hang of it.
I know some children are great on them from a young age though

I can’t recommend balance bikes enough, they then make the transition to a pedal bike so much easier because they have already mastered the balancing and steering. We went straight from a balance bike to a pedal bike with no stabilisers age 3.

I got a 2nd hand one for my daughter for her 1st birthday. Initially she wouldn't go near it. But since about 21 months she's started to want to sit on it and be pushed around on it
