2nd birth after episotomy
Hi ladies, I’m currently pregnant with my second child. I had an episiotomy with my first child (spontaneous vag delivery) I wanted to know ladies experience with the second
Did you have another episiotomy?
How was healing?
Was the pain worse than the first time?

I had an episiotomy with my first and second, you don't have to have it with 2nd as I know people who haven't, however I had a long hard birth with 2nd due to being induced so ended up with this and forceps... again!!!
With my daughter it reopened and it got Infected so I was petrified this time around when they mentioned the word episiotomy but it healed soooo much better this time! Took a few weeks and I was back to normal! I could barely walk or sit for over a month after my daughters!
