Hello mommies, I’m a first time mom to a beautiful babygirl. My baby was born at 34 weeks, and was in the NICU for a week. My baby was born with a tiny little hole in her heart! Sometimes I worry it won’t close, does anybody else have the same problem with there little baby. Please send advice, and be kind thank you 🫶🏽

I just had my little girl @ 34.2 weeks...she stood was in NICU for 10 days. What a magical run they have to do for the first week of life... being so early...

They usually offer medication my baby was born at 24 weeks and hers closed after a week or so be comforted by the fact that they do alot of tests to make sure it's closed. And it's very normal with premature babies.

Out of my 9 babies, 1 didn't have a hole or 2 in their hearts. 2 didn't close before or at birth.. but DID before age 1. They will do ultrasounds and follow up. Never really caused an issue. Breathing,eating,crying, being active were all normal ..and of course as moms we worry. But just ask a ton of questions. So you have better knowledge and understanding of what is what.
