Is it normal for lip tie to come back?
My daughter had her lip tie fixed when she was a week old. She is now almost 8 weeks and I noticed her latch wasn’t as good and she has been very windy again. So I thought I’d check her lip and sure enough, it grew back! Is that normal?? She has a doctor appointment in a few days so I will address it then, but this didn’t happen with my other daughter. I’m guessing I’ll have to get it fixed again 😭

@Kelsey they didn’t tell me to do it for 4 weeks! I only had to do them for a week. Maybe that is why 🤦🏻♀️ now I feel bad, it’s all my fault.
@Mia don’t blame yourself. I was told that it’s sometimes a genetic thing as to whether things reattach or not and also that there’s not enough evidence through studies to say whether its due to lack of exercises or not x

Yes they can reattach if exercises aren't consistently done for a while. My dentist said it can take up to 4 weeks to heal but can still possibly reattach and to make sure I do the exercises at least 5 times a day for the 4 weeks
