Childcare for 3 year olds

My little girl is 3 and currently at nursery 15 hrs a week since she was 2 on the 2 year funding, my question is now she's 3 will it stay the same hours in September or is she entitled to more, im currently not working as I'm on maternity and my partner is off work sick atm, im unsure how it all works especially with the 30 hr free funding Thanks :)

She should be able to get 30hours from September

She's actually probably entitled to the 30 hours already as it's from the term after you turn 3. So for January, Feb, and March 2021 babies, it would be April 2024. Ask your preschool nursery if they accept 30 hours. Some do and others don't. In September you will have the choice to either keep your child in a preschool for 30 hours if you wish (i.e. like the one she goes to now) , or a preschool nursery based in a school. Hope that makes sense?

Thankyou both for your reply, does the 30 hr mean you'll only get that if both working because where she's at now they've sent an invoice 15 hrs free but charging me 1 session a week cos it goes over the 15 hrs so that would mean instead of her going in 3 full days to 2 and a half days

30hours is for working parents. Children over 3 are eligible

I am on Skilled worker visa in UK and my BRP says no access to public funds - can anyone confirm if I will be eligible for free 15 hours childcare ? Both me and my partner are working full time
