First birthday party: What activities are you planning for baby's first birthday?

Following for ideas too, Iam confused with fairy theme party or just keep it small with little bit home decoration and a cake smash photoshoot as she won’t remember anything

I’ve been to a few of my friends kids 1st birthday parties recently and none of them have had activities or anything! It’s just food and sometimes gift opening. The kids run around and people just small talk. I got a bubble machine and a water table for my baby so we’re doing that in our backyard but our party will be really small, just the grandparents and baby’s 1 uncles/1 aunt. I’ve also seen where you get a book and use it as a guestbook so I might do that as a keepsake, that’s kind of an activity lol.

I didn't think we had to do activities 😕. I was just planning food cake and gifts but maybe we should have some since there's a couple kids coming.

We’re keeping it small, but going to get everyone (grandparents, aunts/uncles) to write baby a letter to go in time capsule for them to open when their 18. I will also have slideshow going of pictures of my babies first year on our TV

I don’t have kids attending we moved to another city , my parents will fly in so I’m doing a jungle themed party with food and cake no activities. I’ll have him get messy and smash his bday cake but that’s all . The weather will be good so I’m considering doing all that in the park I’ve ordered the balloons plates his outfit and the background theme
