Diet and IVF

Hi! About to start my first round in just over two weeks and have been down a rabbit hole about diet and how it can help. Has anyone found that when they eat a certain way it helped their chances??

Hi, can't say for certain that the diet was the cause for success as I've only had one egg retrieval. But I had a low amh and the didn't expect to retrieve many eggs, and even less of good quality. We ended up with 11 retrieved and 10 of those were good and fertilised, 8 made to blastocyst. 1 currently transfered and 5 more in the freezer! I was very strict with my diet during the stims, I have a sweet tooth so this was a killer. Feel free to message me if you'd like more info on what I ate ☺️

Diet can certainly have an impact but it won’t be the be all and end all of everything. We had 3 retrievals with loads of eggs collected and still didn’t manage to get any blastocysts with my husband as we are incompatible and it was only getting a donor involved that led to me being pregnant, just make sure you eat a healthy diet with a lot of protein during stims and retrieval and warming foods post transfer as well as beetroot juice in case you have a thin lining. Best of luck

@Chloe hey Chloe I have a low AMH also, can I ask what protocol you had for your stims? Did you do down regulation?

@Lucie hey I just did short protocol 😊
