Chickenpox help

My son doesn't have chickenpox marks yet but he has come down poorly and nursery have said they have it going round his nursery room like wild fire at the moment so it could be he's got the infection. What do I need to get in available for him? And any advice on how to ease him slightly if he does come down with it? Just want to make sure I'm prepared in advance rather than flapping trying to get help when he actually does get it haha. Thank you 💖

My LO caught it from nursery a few weeks ago. Calamine lotion and cool baths take the itch out. Other than that we had lots of cuddles, peppa pig and chocolate and he was over the worst of it in 3-4 days

When mine had chicken pox I used Care ViraSoothe Chickenpox Relief Cooling Gel Which seemed to help better than calamine lotion. Try and distract from scratching too. X

Oats for baths. Calpol for discomfort. Piriton for itching.

I tried a lot of different things, nothing worked as well as Poxclin did!

Aveeno oat bath sachets and poxclin were my lifesavers. They never itched at all so I never even needed piriton!

Calamine lotion lots of baths and making sure he drinking lots of liquid.

Thank you all 💓
