Testing after trigger shot

I would wait at least 11-12 days

I went through 6 medicated cycles with trigger shots (none resulted in a pregnancy) but each cycle I did something different. For some, I tested out my trigger everyday so that if I were to see a positive I would know it was a true positive or still the trigger & others I didn’t test until 12-13dpo/dpIUI when I would know that the trigger would be out of my system. Testing out the trigger a few times showed me that the trigger would leave my system around 10-11 days past trigger so it helped me know when to test. I’ve realized that it truly depends on you and what you can handle. If you can handle testing everyday to test out the trigger, do that. If you can’t handle that or don’t want to waste tests, etc.. I would wait until 12-14dpIUI to test :) I hope that helps & all the best luck to you!

I had a medicated IUI with a trigger on the 21st. So just 1 day behind you. My past cycles like this I waited like a full 12 dpo. I just new I couldn't handle seeing a positive and then having it go away.

Yeah.. I had a chemical pregnancy in my last IUI. Reading your experiences, I don’t think it’s a good idea to test before 10-11dpo Thank you for the input

On the same page. I had my IUI on the 25th. Will be waiting 13DPO to do the test. Have had way too many negative tests and don't want to run into another disappointment and heartbreaking. Keeping my hopes up though 🤞🏼

But it’s so hard to wait Today is my 10dpo I tested in the morning, I could see a very very thin line Still I don’t want to have any hopes because I don’t have any symptoms (during my chemical pregnancy I had tender breast, cravings and fatigue)
