Bakery Recommendations!

Hey everyone! So I’m getting ready to throw a 5th birthday party for my daughter and she wants Barbie theme! I’m trying to figure out a good bakery that can do a cupcake formed into a cake with the theme that’s kinda reasonable here in Philly. Anyone know where I can find one? Please help! lol

Depending on where you live in Philly there are a few bakeries that I can recommend. On the west side, I heard Sophisticakes is good. I had my baby shower cake made by Oteris and they have two locations one up Greater NE on Frankford Ave and one on 5th st in Olney. Now I did my son's 1st birthday cake at Bredenbecks in Chestnut Hill and all the cakes were good and moist. I usually say go to a bakery and get a cupcake or cookie or something to try them out. Also I would do a search for a local baker. Most times, you can find someone who doesn't have a shop but is good by word of mouth. Hope this helps.

SophistiCakes in Drexel Hill (Delaware County) is really good. We've gotten all of our cakes from there for years and have never been disappointed. They can really make any design come to life.
