No Baby Bump?

Hey this is my first pregnancy and I’m 18 weeks along. Apparently baby’s measuring okay so far and is actually considered “big” but I have no bump!! I don’t even look remotely pregnant!! I’ve gained no weight, and at most just look bloated but Is this just a genetic thing or could it be a problem? 🥺💞

Not at all! Everybody is so so different. Body shape, baby size, baby position, height, all plays a role in your bump. My first pregnancy I didn’t have anything till 20 weeks and measured small the entire time and had to have extra scans at the end. Baby was absolutely perfect and 8lbs so not tiny by any means. I’m 18 weeks now and still don’t really have a defined one, just look a little bigger than usual. Don’t fret! Xx

I’m 21 weeks and since being pregnant have lost a stone no bump still a size 6 and fit into all the same clothes as I did befor and baby is measuring fine 🥰

These comments are all so reassuring! Fellow slim jim over here, 21 weeks and baby boy is measuring perfectly healthy I just don’t have a noticeable bump yet. Thank you 😊

Yea that’s me haha 😆 I def have a bit more on the belly than before (had abs now they’ve disappeared) but to any person who doesn’t know how I look like without a top on, they think it’s just flat-ish belly and I’m like I’m 5 months pregnant and baby is kicking in there so yea def preggers. It’s annoying when people comment on “where is your belly” but I remind myself that I’ve always worked out, my whole life and just have very good deep core muscles (confirmed by physiotherapy) unlike most people who haven’t been working out their whole lives. (For reference I’ve been doing professional ballet and now Pilates/barre for the past 27 years)

I was exactly the same in my first pregnancy and ended up with a very healthy 8lb 9oz baby haha! My bump suddenly "popped" at 25 weeks then I was huge by the end. It's perfectly normal though ☺️ x

@Polina haha this is exactly me! So many people comment and say omg you’re so tiny etc. but baby is allll good in there!! Yes I’ve always been fairly active, and naturally I am slim and I’m 5ft 6 and a half so I guess thats what it comes down to! Every body is different and everyone carries differently 🥰

I never really got a proper bump with my first and only had a super tiny one when I gave birth. I think it just depends on how you carry as everybody is different 🤍

I’m exactly the same! X

Exactly the same too! Thought I popped the other day but it was a bad case of bloat 🤣🤣

I’m the same but everyone keeps telling me it’s normal because everyone is different and it’s my first, but I wish I would have gone with my gut feeling and go to the doctor to check. At 21 weeks they told me me baby stop growing at 17 weeks due to Severe early onset growth restriction - Abnormal Dopplers- Oligohydramnios.Today 22 weeks they can’t find a heartbeat 💔 If you feel like you need to check it please do so.

I’m nearly 20 weeks and I still have no bump either! Hearing it can be normal for first time pregnancy is reassuring ☺️
