Yes the second book is definitely a lot slower than the first I’m currently reading it and finding myself putting it down a lot but I think I just got into some juicy parts so I’m excited to see how it unfolds!
I hope you love it! I couldn’t shake the book for a couple days after finishing the second one. My sister just finished it and was texting me in shock with the ending. Hang in there, it gets really good and I feel like the last 100 pages made up for the slowness of the first half lol

I loved it!! It’s the first fantasy I’ve read since Harry Potter so I just loved the nostalgia of it (with way more sexual tension😂). Waiting for Iron Flame to not be so expensive on kindle now!
In the middle, don’t love it or hate it. It’s just a bit too predictable for my liking. I’m honestly only reading it because my friend loves it and wants someone else to talk to about it.

Ugh, I LIIIIVE for the first book 🤣 I haven’t loved a book like this in a while. I recently purchased it so that I could re-read it! I didn’t love second as much, but it was still a good read with some interesting plots. I look forward to reading more about Andarna 🐉✨ and am excited for the third book regardless of how I feel about the second.

I LOVED it! I finished it a couple months ago and I still find myself thinking about it. I’m excited for Onyx Storm to come out, I plan on rereading the first 2 in December so I can be ready for it. My friend on the other hand couldn’t get into it and DNF only getting to the 2nd chapter. I’ll admit the second book was a little slower than the first but I still loved it.
